Dunedin Fine Art Center

In Three Islands, Maine artist, Bill McCarthy exhibits a photographic series created in three environmentally and geographically distinct island locations: the active volcanic island country of Iceland, Bailey Island off the coast of Maine and local barrier island, Caladesi. The images capture an ancient world in today’s light, but ultimately, each image is a world unto itself.

DFAC is excited to offer an exhibition by Sarasota photographer Aydelette Kelsey. Others, Elsewhere, explores the role of artist as traveler. These photographically captured moments from other worlds celebrate what poet, Wallace Stevens, called “the voluptuousness of looking.”
