Fairy Tale Art: Illustrations from Children’s Books Curator, Sylvia Nissley

[CURATOR, SYLVIA NISSLEY] Sylvia Nissley is an independent curator with a passion for the world of children’s picture books. Ms. Nissley relocated to Sarasota from northern California where she studied Arts Administration, worked in galleries and arts organizations and promoted the work of regional artists. Nissley has organized numerous exhibitions including Fairy Tale Art- Illustrations from Children’s Books. For three years this collection of original art from fairy tale books has delighted visitors during a tour of museums, art centers and universities throughout the United States. The Selby Gallery at Ringling School of Art and Design is the final venue for this popular exhibition.
