Physically and/or conceptually, material is integral to the creative process of all visual artists. The concept title, “Material World” is designed to celebrate the use of materials from our modern world, in visual art. Whether you create traditionally or explore unconventional methods in your creative process this is the show for you! We invite ACS member artists and artists from around the state to create works of art utilizing material in all aspects. Two and three dimensional works of art in all media and subject matter are encouraged for submission.

Entry Fees:
MEMBERS: 1 piece $15, 2 pieces $25, 3 pieces $30 diptychs: $25 triptychs: $35
NON-MEMBERS: 1 piece $25, 2 pieces $40, 3 pieces $50
diptychs: $40 triptychs: $55
STUDENT Members*: $5 for each entry.
*must present a valid full-time student ID and must be a current member of ACS
Awards:
Five awards will be presented: $500 first place, $300 second place, $200 third place. Two Merit Award winners will receive a gift certificate. Award winners will also feature art work at the Sarasota Herald Tribune Building on Main St. for the duration of the exhibition.
